Christopher Childers grew up dancing since the age of 3 in his families' dance studio in The San Francisco Bay area. He started his professional career at the young age of 15 and has never looked back. He's toured with Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Prince, Paula Abdul, and many others. He has appeared in dozens of commercials, films, videos and television shows. He was also the choreographer and movement double for the first 'Spiderman' movie starring Toby Maguire. Christopher has also worked for 'Cirque du Soleil' for many years first as a principal artist and then as the choreographer and dance coach for Cirque in their two Las Vegas productions: "O" and Mystere. He was also recently the Artistic Director for 'Le Reve' at the Wynn hotel. He now has his own production company 'Sky-King Entertainment', based in Montara California. Please 'like' it on FB! He currently Directs and Choreographs shows all over the world, including the Sandcastle dinner theater, RCCL and Silversea cruise lines and for special events at home and internationally.
Eve Mason is originally from St. Louis, MO, where she graduated from Webster University with her BFA in Dance and Choreography as well as her MA in Business and Leadership. Her credits include: Disney’s Glowfest, Disney Jr.’s Choo-Choo Soul, AGT (season 5 & 6), MLB’s All Star Game with Cee Lo Green, Playboy Jazz Festival with Sheila E, Nike, Genentech, MTV MADE coach and PDS’s Julie Andrew’s Tribute plus many more live shows. She is currently performing and acting in Stacey Tookey’s new web series Chasing 8’s, Solevita Dance Company and assisting Liz Imperio on projects including Jennifer Lopez’s World Tour Dance Again, Princess Cruise Lines, and various TV commercials. Eve has now added a long held dream of becoming a Dance Convention Director to her resume with Velocity.
Mark Goodman began tap dancing at the University of New Hampshire under Gay Nardone, from there he went on to New York City where he joined the American Tap Dance Orchestra under the direction of the legendary Brenda Bufalino. Mark has worked with tap legends Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Charles “Honi” Coles, Buster Brown and Sandman Sims, just to name a few. He developed his solo act and has performed all over the world including: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Joyce Theatre, Savion Glover and Friends at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park and many more venues. He has taken his performance style and teaching all over the world including: Finland, Spain, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Guatemala. Mark’s stage credits include 42nd Street (European tour), No,No, Nanette, Anything Goes (with Melba Moore), Mother Courage and her Children (directed by Tony Kushner). Among his favorite gigs: being a regular performer at the Miss California Pageant and being selected to perform his solo act at a birthday performance for Carlos Santana. Mark started his own Tap Company in Los Angleles: MGTC. His shows are dramas with tap; telling full original stories the tap his work has been reviewed as “A Ballet in Tap”. He has a true love of teaching and has been doing so for many many years at studios all over the world including Broadway Dance Center and Steps in New York City. Among his celebrity clients are: Actor Harry Hamlin, Soap Star Eileen Davidson, and Broadway Legend Carol Lawrence. Mark was in the movie The Polar Express with Tom Hanks (director Robert Zemeckis) . He co-wrote, produced, choreographed for and acted in the movie Dance Off and is currently working on a screenplay based on the legend of Don Quixote. Mark is now on Faculty of VELOCITY dance convention.
The 2018 PDC Summer Intensive week was a huge success! The all star line up of master classes included tap with Mark Goodman, Jazz, lyrical, and mock auditions by Eve Mason, Voguing by Christopher Childers, Hip Hop and Jazz funk with Ronnie Riddick, Contemporary with Dexandro Montavlo, Choreography and composition by PDC Company members Arielle, Casey Kitazumi, and Devon Magee, as well as more classes in ballet, floor barre, hip hop, Jazz, yoga, contemporary, and audtions with Devon Magee and PDC Dir. Lindsey McLevis. Needless to say, it was a week of variety and exploration, and these young dancers were amazing throughout! Congrats to our 2018 PDC.2 company, beautiful performance at the show!
